Imam Khomeini International Airport, located in Tehran, has resumed operations.
This was reported by the Iranian broadcasting corporation IRIB.
"On Saturday, April 25, with the arrival of dawn, the sky over the Iranian capital once again saw the resumption of international air service," the official statement noted.
The first passengers departed on flights to Medina (Saudi Arabia), Muscat (Oman), and Istanbul (Turkey).
