In the USA, a truck drove into protesters supporting the protests in Iran
In Los Angeles, California, a truck drove into a crowd during rallies in support of the protest movement in Iran.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the KNBC TV channel.
"According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, at least two people sought medical attention," the publication says.
It is reported that after the incident, protesters tried to attack the driver and broke the windows of the vehicle. Currently, law enforcement officers have not yet established the identity of the person behind the wheel of the truck.
Note that the protests began in Iran on December 28 after a sudden collapse of the national currency and have since spread to at least 46 cities across the country. According to available data, dozens of people have died, including at least five children, and many were injured. Internet and mobile communications were shut down in the republic on the evening of January 8, which seriously limited access to information amid the escalation of violence.
