The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russian Federation) Amina Shafikova has been detained.
This was reported by TASS citing its own source in law enforcement agencies.
According to the agency, she was detained on the morning of February 18.
According to the Telegram channel "Ufa with a spark," preliminary information suggests she is suspected of abuse of official authority.
Amina Shafikova has held the position of Minister of Culture of Bashkortostan since 2012. Prior to this, from 2010 to 2012, she headed the Ufa State Academy of Arts. In 2002, she became an Honored Artist of the republic, and in 2024, she received the status of People's Artist.
As a reminder, the Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of Russia's Krasnodar Krai, Sergei Shtrikov, was previously detained.
