In Mexico, volunteers who search for missing persons made a horrific discovery - dozens of bags with human remains. This was reported by El Tiempo.
42 bags with remains were walled up in a building under construction in the municipality of Zapopan in Jalisco state. In the same house in February 2024, bags with the remains of 37 people were discovered. In total, during the last June-July, members of the public organization reported 54 bags with dismembered human bodies.
According to the publication, the "New Generation Jalisco" cartel operates in the state, and currently more than 15 thousand people are listed as missing in the region.
