In India, a small airplane crashed, resulting in the death of five people. This information was reported by local media.
According to BAKU.WS with reference to NDTV, the aircraft departed from Mumbai around 8 a.m. and crashed while attempting to land near Baramati airport approximately 45 minutes after takeoff. The plane fell near the airfield, and those on board could not be saved.
Among the deceased are the head of the NCP party and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra State Ajit Pawar, as well as his security staff and the pilot. According to media reports, Pawar was scheduled to participate in four important public meetings that day ahead of local government elections.
Footage from the scene shows fire and thick smoke, severely damaged airplane debris, and ambulances transporting the victims to nearby hospitals. India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation stated that all five people on board died in the crash.
