Azerbaijan sued CNN

Azerbaijan has filed a lawsuit against the CNN television channel in a U.S. federal court.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the reason for the lawsuit was the publication of an article containing unfounded and provocative claims directed against Azerbaijan.

The article, published by CNN on June 5, 2026, contained a number of provocative claims that Azerbaijan's territory was allegedly used by Israel to conduct military and intelligence operations against Iran.
