The head coach of "Sabah" shared his expectations for the upcoming match against FC "Hapoel"

"Sabah" is eagerly awaiting the first match against Israeli club "Hapoel" (Beer-Sheva) in the playoff round of the UEFA Champions League.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated at a press conference by the head coach of the Azerbaijani team, Valdas Dambrauskas.

The specialist shared his expectations for the upcoming match.

"The playoff stage of the UEFA Champions League brings special excitement. Our club is participating in this round for the first time in its history. We are looking forward to this game with great anticipation. I take this opportunity to congratulate our opponent on reaching this stage. In two weeks, one of the teams will make history and advance to the main stage of the Champions League.

When we started this journey, we were never considered favorites. We always looked like underdogs. The same can be said about our opponent. But we have proven that we deserve to play here. And now an interesting battle awaits us. Because two very similar teams will meet. We are ready for tomorrow's game," emphasized the Masakyr-based team's coach.

It should be noted that the "Hapoel" - "Sabah" match will take place on August 19 at the "Giulești" stadium in Bucharest, Romania, and will kick off at 23:00 Baku time. The return leg will be held on August 25 at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium in Baku. Kick-off is at 20:45.
