**How does Iran assess the Mecca Agreement?**
For ten days now, the "Mecca Joint Defense Agreement" signed between Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia has been one of the main topics on both the regional and global agenda. Yesterday, US President Donald Trump also expressed his stance on the agreement, welcomed it, and described it as a major step.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a video published on the Azad İran YouTube channel.
"Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif shared Trump's statement, expressed his gratitude, and emphasized that the agreement will play a constructive role in the defense of both the participating countries and the region as a whole.
The Mecca Agreement was also the main topic of the phone conversation between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Donald Trump, which took place last night.
