Foreign pop singer with band crashed in private plane
Pop singer Yeison Jimenez and members of his musical group died in a private plane crash in Colombia. The tragedy occurred during a flight to a concert in Medellin.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to El Tiempo, the plane took off from the city of Paipa and was heading to Medellin, where the musicians had a scheduled performance on the evening of January 10. The plane crash occurred shortly after takeoff in the rural area of La Vereda Romita.
According to the publication, there were six people on board, including two pilots. No one survived the crash. The causes of the accident are not officially reported at the moment.
Yeison Jimenez gained widespread popularity thanks to hits such as Aventurero, Ni Tengo Ni Necesito, and El Mejor. His death came as a shock to fans and the country's musical community.
