NBC American TV channel host, famous sports commentator Mike Tirico was forced to urgently leave a live broadcast due to sudden illness. According to The US Sun, the cause was a serious allergic reaction to nuts.

According to Tirico himself, he accidentally consumed a product containing nuts, after which he rapidly developed swelling in his throat and nose. "This seriously hindered my breathing, I felt so bad that I simply couldn't continue hosting the broadcast. I had to self-administer epinephrine and seek help from emergency medical personnel," the host explained his sudden disappearance from the frame.

It is specified that the incident occurred during the broadcast of prestigious horse racing in Kentucky. After a commercial break, viewers saw another commentator who briefly reported about his colleague's illness.

On social media, numerous viewers of the program noted that they noticed alarming changes in Tirico's voice immediately before his disappearance from the broadcast.
