Evgeny Gutsul was sentenced to 7 years in prison

A court in Chisinau sentenced the head of the Gagauz Autonomy of Moldova, Evgenia Gutsul, to 7 years in prison on charges of violations in financing the opposition party "Shor".
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced to TASS by the politician's lawyer Natalia Bairam.
The court's decision must be executed immediately, she noted.
In this regard, according to the lawyer, Gutsul will be taken to prison directly from the courtroom.
Recall that the prosecutor's office had requested 9 years for her.
Also, the former secretary of the "Shor" party, Svetlana Propan, was sentenced to 6 years in prison.
