Elon Musk named the next US president

Billionaire Elon Musk, in a conversation with former colleagues, suggested that the current US Vice President JD Vance will become the next President of the United States.

As BAKU.WS reports, this is according to the American newspaper Politico, citing its sources.

According to the publication, Musk expressed this opinion during a speech to employees of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) on November 22. It was recorded on video but was not broadcast publicly.

During his speech, the Tesla CEO announced that the US is on the threshold of "a great 12-year period," referring to Donald Trump's begun presidential term and Vance's two subsequent terms.

The article notes that Musk has built good relations with Vance. The next United States presidential election is planned for 2028, and the Vice President has not yet spoken definitively about his plans to run. Trump, in turn, will not be able to run for this position again, as the 22nd Amendment to the US Constitution limits a leader's tenure to two terms.

Musk also stated that he is on the list of "main targets for assassination" along with Trump and Vance.
