Well-known British clothing designer Paul Costelloe has died at the age of 80.

As reported by BAKU.WS, Independent writes about this.

His fashion brand Paul Costelloe Collections confirmed the passing of its founder, adding that the designer died peacefully surrounded by his family after a short illness.

Costelloe was considered Princess Diana's personal designer, working with her from 1983 to 1997. He mainly designed her official outfits, however some of his works caused controversy - for example, a chiffon skirt that became slightly transparent when backlit. The designer also created corporate uniforms for British Airways and Delta Airlines, and dressed the Irish Olympic team.
