Astrophysicists Announce the Beginning of a Magnetic Storm
Russian scientists from the Laboratory of Solar X-ray Astronomy at IKI RAS and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics RAS detected the beginning of a magnetic storm on the night of March 9.
According to observational data, the geomagnetic disturbance belongs to category G1, which characterizes it as a weak phenomenon.
Specialists note that anxiety about magnetic storms can have a more significant impact on well-being than the natural phenomenon itself. Experts emphasize that magnetic storms of categories G1 and G2 usually pass with almost no noticeable effect on the human body.
