American Nvidia has once again become the world's largest company by market capitalization, surpassing Apple, which had taken the lead in value earlier in the day.

This is evidenced by trading data.

As of 22:50 Baku time, Nvidia shares on the Nasdaq exchange slowed their decline after falling 4.37% at the start of trading and were at $203.14 per share (-2.05%). The company's capitalization stood at $4.921 trillion, compared to $4.83 trillion earlier in the day.

Thus, Nvidia surpassed Apple, which had held the status of the world's most valuable company for less than a day. In turn, Apple shares were trading at $333.95 (+0.21%), and its capitalization remained unchanged from the start of trading at $4.9 trillion.

As Bloomberg noted, Apple's rise to the top position by capitalization was caused by an outflow of investments from the technology sector, in particular by the decline in Nvidia's stock price following the release by Chinese startup Moonshot AI of a new model capable of competing with the best developments from OpenAI and Anthropic, which use chips from the American company.

According to Bloomberg, Nvidia had previously held the status of the world's most valuable company since May 2025.
