Another country has been hit by a powerful earthquake

A 5.8 magnitude earthquake has been recorded in the Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan.

This was reported by the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

According to its data, the epicenter was located 179 km east of the city of Kunduz, which has a population of about 161,000 people. The focus was at a depth of 186 km.

No reports of casualties or damage have been received.
