Ancient marine creature discovered, 555 million years old

Scientists have made an amazing discovery, finding the oldest marine creature that demonstrates the first pronounced signs of evolutionary development.
According to researchers from the University of Florida, the age of the find is an incredible 555 million years. The unique creature was named Quaestio simpsonorum. The peculiarity of the creature lies in the pronounced left-right asymmetry of the body, which is a crucial evolutionary feature. Notably, Quaestio simpsonorum became the first organism known to science on the planet that mastered independent movement.
The size of the ancient creature is strikingly modest - it easily fits in a human palm. The body shape of Quaestio simpsonorum resembles a question mark, which provides a clear division into left and right sides.
According to scientists, this ancient marine inhabitant led a lifestyle resembling the work of a vacuum cleaner - it moved along the seabed, absorbing nutrients from microscopic algae, bacteria, and other tiny organisms.
