A new settlement has appeared in Russia where alcohol consumption is prohibited

In Russia, there has appeared another settlement where alcohol consumption has been completely banned. Residents of the village of Maly Naryn in the Dzhidinsky district of Buryatia unanimously voted at a general meeting to assign their settlement the official status of a sobriety zone.
The decision was made with the support of local authorities, representatives of the prosecutor's office, and law enforcement agencies. According to the new rules, the sale of any alcoholic beverages is completely prohibited on the territory of the village.
Notably, Maly Naryn has become the 30th settlement in Buryatia where residents have consciously chosen the path of sobriety, reports the information portal "Buryatia-Online".
