Wednesday is recognized as the most productive workday of the week, while Thursday, on the contrary, is the least effective when considering natural human biorhythms.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to RIA Novosti, this was stated by the academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Gennady Onishchenko.

According to the Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Education, human work capacity gradually increases at the beginning of the week - on Monday and Tuesday - and reaches its peak on Wednesday.

"From the perspective of weekly biorhythm, Wednesday is considered the most effective day. After the weekend, we gradually build momentum - Monday and Tuesday lead to a peak of activity, and after Wednesday, a sharp decline is observed," Onishchenko explained.

The scientist emphasized that these patterns are important to consider when creating school schedules. He recommended not to plan difficult subjects and tests on Thursdays.

"On Thursday, the schedule should be lighter - no heavy lessons and especially no tests. We always ask teachers not to conduct them on this day," added the academician.
