Factors that can cause chronic headache
Chronic headache or "tension headache" can be triggered by severe fatigue, work stress, and constant worrying.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Gazeta.ru, this was explained by neurologist Svetlana Sergeeva, MD, Associate Professor at the Russian Gerontological Research and Clinical Center of Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University.
"This compressive, often symmetrical headache is typically associated with a certain psychotype. It is known as 'manager syndrome' or 'effective worker syndrome'. When a person is very responsible, conscientiously approaches work or other tasks and suddenly cannot cope with something, they begin to worry," the doctor explained.
According to her, such pain feels like a band squeezing the head, and may be accompanied by increased pulse and elevated blood pressure. Patients may experience anxiety, sleep problems, and inability to fully recover, Sergeeva warned.
