UEFA Conference League: "Zira" thrashed "Torpedo" on home ground

The first qualifying round match of the UEFA Conference League took place, in which Azerbaijan's "Zira" hosted Georgian "Torpedo".

As reported by Oxu.Az, the game was held at the Sumgayit City Stadium and ended in favor of the Baku club with a score of 3:0.

In the 32nd minute, defender Ruan Renato put the "eagles" ahead. In the 48th minute, forward Davit Volkovi extended the Azerbaijani team's lead. In the 63rd minute, Renato scored a brace and brought the score to a rout.

It should be noted that the return match will take place on July 16 at the Ramaz Shengelia Stadium in Kutaisi, Georgia.
