Azerbaijan national team and American club Columbus Crew footballer Nariman Akhundzade played his first match in Major League Soccer (MLS).
As reported by Oxu.Az, the 21-year-old forward came onto the field in the 88th minute of the match against Toronto in the 5th round of the regular championship.
The match ended with a 2:1 victory for Toronto.
It should be noted that N. Akhundzade transferred to Columbus Crew from Aghdam's Qarabag during the winter transfer window. His contract with the MLS club runs until the summer of 2029.
