III CIS Countries Games: wrestling and karate competitions start today
Today at the III Games of the CIS countries, which Azerbaijan is hosting for the first time, competitions will be held in 9 sports.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the trampoline finals will be held at the Sheki Olympic Sports Complex, boxing semifinals in Yevlakh, archery competitions in Khankendi, fencing competitions at the Ganja Sports Palace, and badminton qualification games at the Gabala Olympic Sports Complex.
Wrestling competitions will start at the Ganja Olympic Sports Complex, and karate competitions in Mingachevir.
The Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan volleyball teams will meet in Ganja, while the Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan football teams will play in Gabala.
As a reminder, the III Games of the CIS countries, in which 1,624 athletes from 13 countries are participating, will conclude on October 8.
