Formula 2 drivers received penalty points at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Two drivers were penalized following the sprint race of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix of "Formula 2" in Baku.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced on the official racing website.

Laurens van Hoepen from the Trident team created a dangerous situation at the second turn. He received a 10-second penalty for today's main race and will start from the 17th position.

Another racer, Kush Maini (Dams Lukas Oil), was found guilty of colliding with Amaury Cordeel (Rodin Motorsport). He was given a 5-second penalty. Dropping three positions, Maini will start the main race from 19th place.

Note that the main "Formula 2" race will begin today at 11:00.
