FIFA has imposed a transfer ban on "Neftchi"?

Clarity has been brought to the issue related to the transfer ban imposed on the football club "Neftchi."

As Oxu.Az was informed by the club's press service, the restriction that appeared on the relevant FIFA portal is related to a technical delay.

It is noted that when a transfer payment is delayed, the FIFA system automatically places the club on the "red list" and applies a transfer ban.

"This is a commonly occurring phenomenon in world practice. After the main obligations are fulfilled, the ban is automatically lifted," the information states.

The statement emphasizes that the payment has already been made by the club.

"After the payment is confirmed by the opposing party, the transfer ban will be lifted within a maximum of 3-5 days. There are no grounds for concern; we have no debt obligations. Simply due to technical issues, one payment was delayed, and this has already been resolved. We ask our fans not to worry," the club stated.
