Azerbaijani boxer became European champion

Azerbaijani boxer Subhan Mammadov (50 kg) became the European champion among youth (U-23).

As Report informs, the leader of the national team confidently defeated Ukrainian Maxim Rudik in the final.

Mammadov won all three rounds, securing the final victory with a score of 4:1 (28:29, 29:28, 29:28, 30:27, 30:27).

Thus, Elbrus Rzayev's team completed the championship with three medals: earlier, Tagi Nasibov (60 kg) and Sabukhi Alizade (+90 kg) won bronze.

A total of 271 boxers from 33 countries participated in the competition.
