Azerbaijan will be represented by 11 boxers at the World Championship

Azerbaijan will be represented by 11 boxers at the World Championship, which will be held in Dubai (UAE) from December 3-13.

Athletes from more than 120 countries will participate in the tournament.

The Azerbaijan team will send Subkhan Mammadov (48 kg), Nijat Huseynov (51 kg), Zalimkhan Suleymanov (54 kg), Umid Rustamov (57 kg), Magomedali Ashuraliyev (60 kg), Magsud Khasmetov (63.5 kg), Zaur Gahramanov (67 kg), Sarkhan Aliyev (70 kg), Saidjamshid Safarov (80 kg), Alfonso Domingues (86 kg) and Magomed Abdullayev (+92 kg) to the championship.

In addition, Fuad Aslanov and Rovshan Gadirov will represent the country at the competitions as judges. The national team will be led by Rovshan Huseynov, a member of the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation board.
