Today we remember Fariz Badalov, who was killed by an Armenian sniper's shot
Today in Azerbaijan, people remember Fariz Badalov - a 9-year-old boy whose life tragically ended in 2011 due to an Armenian sniper's shot.
As reported by BAKU.WS, Fariz was born in 2002 in Aghdam and was the only child in the family who grew up without a father. On that fatal day, despite the cold weather, he decided to play in the yard with friends. However, a bullet fired from Armenian positions in the occupied territories reached him.
"As soon as he left the house, there was a shot. We immediately took him to the hospital, but doctors couldn't save him," recalls his grandmother Malahat Badalova.
Fariz Badalov was posthumously awarded the status of martyr. A film "Ana haqqi" (Mother's Right) was made in his memory.
