The servicemen of the Azerbaijani army who died under an avalanche will be granted the status of shaheed

The bodies of conscripts of the Azerbaijani army - privates Hamidov Ruslan Rustam oglu and Imanov Ali Tariel oglu, who were returning from their place of service located in Gadabay district and got caught in a snow avalanche in foggy weather conditions, have been found.

It is expected that in accordance with the law, the servicemen who died during service will be granted the status of shahid.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Qafqazinfo, a request was sent to the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription regarding this issue.

The head of the department for public relations and international relations of the service, Parviz Sadraddinov, stated that the status of shahid for the deceased servicemen of the Azerbaijani army can be granted based on a notification submitted by the military unit.

The Service representative noted that the status of shahid will be granted to the servicemen who died today - Ali Imanov and Ruslan Hamidov - after the provision of official documentation confirming their death while performing combat missions during service.
