Famous Spanish therapist Alexander Olmos issued an important warning about breakfasts that can negatively affect health. In an interview with the popular publication Vanitatis, the doctor listed the three worst options for morning meals.

"The worst breakfast option, which is also the most common, is white bread and sweet cereals. Such a breakfast quickly raises blood sugar levels, but causes a sharp drop in energy and uncontrollable appetite after a few hours," warned Olmos.

The specialist also strongly recommends excluding fruit juices and smoothies from the morning diet due to their high sugar content. The third undesirable product, according to the doctor, is coffee prepared using the "torrefacto" technology - a special method of roasting beans in sugar. Such a drink can cause digestive problems and make it difficult to absorb nutrients.
