"Sober driver" stole the groom's car and caused an accident

In Bashkiria, a "sober driver" hired for a wedding service stole the groom's car and got into an accident.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Mash Telegram channel, the incident occurred in the city of Oktyabrsky. The newlyweds ordered a "sober driver" service, who was supposed to deliver guests and the wedding cake to a ski resort, and then return to the city by taxi.

However, the driver was in no hurry to return home and stayed at the celebration. After drinking heavily, he stole the keys to the groom's expensive car and went for a ride. At an intersection, the intoxicated thief lost control, collided with another vehicle, then abandoned the damaged car on the road and fled.

The perpetrator was detained for stealing a Mazda 6 worth 2.5 million rubles. The owner had to pay 600 thousand rubles for repairs to the damaged vehicle.
