Important news regarding pensions in Azerbaijan

Tomorrow begins the payment of pensions for February, taking into account January's increase.

As reported by Baku.ws, this was announced by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.

On the specified day, payments will be made to residents of Baku, Sumgayit, and the Absheron district. Pensioners from other regions of the country, as well as those eligible for preferential pensions, will receive payments according to the established schedule throughout the month.

All types of pensions assigned before January 1, 2025, were indexed and increased by 8.1 percent from the beginning of the year, and from February 1, the minimum pension was increased from 280 to 320 manats.

February pensions will also be paid taking into account these increases. Additionally, the January indexation increase will be added to the February pension.
