Driver was drunk and without a license: details of the fatal traffic accident in Azerbaijan

One of the drivers injured in a traffic accident in the Gabala district was drunk and driving without a license.
This was reported to Oxu.az by Police Lieutenant Colonel Mubariz Agayev, a representative of the Main Department of State Road Police (MDSRP).
"During the incident that occurred in Tovle village, the driver of VAZ-2101 with state registration number 27-BT-834, Agsif Garibli, was driving while intoxicated and did not have a driver's license.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the accident, and an investigation is underway. The investigation will determine the party at fault in the incident.
The MDSRP reminds that regardless of who is at fault in this incident, people who drive vehicles while intoxicated and without a license typically commit serious violations that end tragically, and urges those prone to such illegal actions to learn from this incident that led to death and severe injuries," stated Mubariz Agayev.

On January 31 around 20:00, VAZ-2106 and VAZ-2101 vehicles collided in Tovle village of Gabala district.
According to APA, as a result of the accident, VAZ-2106 passenger Ehsan Kerimov (born 1958) died at the scene, while another passenger Muslim Soltanov (born 1976) and the 56-year-old driver E.Mushdagov were injured.
The driver of the other vehicle, 30-year-old Agasif Garibli, and his passenger Elnur Jabrayilov (born 2002) were also injured.
According to the Sheki regional group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) press service, a criminal case has been initiated at the Gabala District Police Department, and an investigation is ongoing.
