Azerbaijan is among the top three most reading countries in the CIS.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to TASS, this was stated by TASS Director General Andrey Kondrashov at the XXXII International Book Exhibition-Fair.
"The cultural shell, like culture in general, is the core of civilization. We have a common civilization. According to recent surveys, Belarus is the most reading country in the CIS. 369 people out of a thousand visit libraries and borrow 69 million books per year. Can you imagine? Russia is in second place," he said.
According to Kondrashov, Azerbaijan is in third place, and Kazakhstan is in fourth.
