The trial of Gzamok Pugachyova in Gryazi risks being left without electricity for a month

A scandal is gaining momentum in the Russian show business, related to the financial obligations of an emigrated famous couple. The company "Mosenergosbyt" has filed a lawsuit against Maxim Galkin, recognized as a foreign agent, for an amount exceeding 500 thousand rubles for unpaid electricity at their castle in the village of Gryaz near Moscow. The hearing at the Cheremushkinsky District Court of Moscow is scheduled for September 25, 2025, where the issue of debt collection and possible disconnection of power supply will be decided. This is reported in the official court materials and press release of "Mosenergosbyt," confirmed by RIA Novosti and RBC.
Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services Svetlana Razvorotneva expressed bewilderment about why the electricity in the mansion of Alla Pugacheva, People's Artist of Russia, has still not been disconnected despite long-term non-payment. "Bills have not been paid for a long time, and this creates unequal conditions for conscientious consumers," she noted in a comment for Mail.ru. According to court data, the debt accumulated from 2022, when the spouses Pugacheva and Galkin left Russia with their children after the start of the special military operation, moving to Israel.
The mansion in Gryaz, built in the 2010s, has long fallen into a neglected state. Neighbors complain about mold on the walls, rusty gates and general degradation of the territory, even suggesting demolishing the building as unsuitable for living. Earlier, in 2024, local authorities recorded violations in the maintenance of the facility, including the absence of security and utility services. If the court grants the lawsuit, electricity in the castle may be disconnected for up to one month, which will worsen problems with property preservation.
This incident is part of a broader wave of lawsuits against emigrants from show business. Galkin, known as a TV host and comedian, has already faced restrictions in Russia due to his foreign agent status. Family representatives do not comment on the situation, but sources in legal circles suggest that the debt will be paid before the trial. Experts from "Moskovsky Komsomolets" emphasize: such cases highlight the risks for owners abroad whose assets in the Russian Federation remain unattended.
The situation causes public resonance: social networks discuss the balance between personal rights and obligations before the law. Stay tuned for developments: the court decision on September 25 may become a precedent for similar cases.
