Alsu revealed the reason for divorce from her Baku-born husband

Popular singer Alsou appeared as a guest on "Volya Show" where she shared thoughts about her marriage to entrepreneur Yan Abramov and reasons for their separation, reports Starhit.

In May 2024, news broke about the couple's divorce after 18 years of marriage. Although the official reason for the separation wasn't announced, the artist indirectly confirmed rumors about her husband's relationship with a model. During their years together, the couple had three children: Safina (17 years old), Mikella (16 years old), and Rafael (7 years old).

During the interview, the artist answered a question about the possibility of preventing the divorce. "I acknowledge my share of responsibility for what happened. The desire to be a wise wife - turning a blind eye to problems, avoiding conflicts, and always agreeing - turned out to be a mistake. It's important to discuss what bothers you. Open dialogue is the foundation of strong relationships," shared the singer.

Note that Alsou's former husband, businessman Yan Abramov, is a native of Baku.
