Ömer Çelik: Some countries are trying to drive a wedge between Turkey and Azerbaijan
There are countries that are trying to drive a wedge between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
As reported by Haber Global, this was stated by the spokesperson of Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) Ömer Çelik at a press briefing for journalists.
According to him, these states will categorically not be allowed to achieve their goals.
Ö. Çelik emphasized that some groups, social media users, and organizations in Turkey are mistakenly making Azerbaijan their target. He noted that Turkey is committed to the principle of "one nation, two states." At the same time, both countries have their own domestic political agendas.
"This domestic policy may differ. Various approaches are possible in both domestic and foreign policy. When we have disagreements on these issues, we discuss them as two brotherly countries and continue on our path," the spokesperson stated.
