Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Azerbaijan for its support.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, Zelensky made this statement while speaking on Tuesday, July 7, at the Defense Industry Forum in Ankara as part of the NATO summit.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine today possesses "the world's largest drone capability" and offers partners to develop cooperation through the Drone Deal initiative.

He noted that the initiative envisages not only the procurement of drones but also joint production, rapid deployment of technologies, protection of critical infrastructure, and cooperation in the field of security.

"I want to thank every country's leader, every company that cooperates with Ukraine in the defense sector. The European Union, Turkey, NATO countries, as well as countries such as Azerbaijan and the Gulf states are our strong partners, and I hope that our cooperation will provide our countries with reliable protection against threats," Zelensky said.

It should be recalled that on April 25 in Gabala, the presidents of Azerbaijan and Ukraine, Ilham Aliyev and Volodymyr Zelensky, discussed the development of cooperation in the military-industrial complex. It was noted that the parties pointed to the existence of significant potential for joint production both in the defense industry and in the industrial sector as a whole. In addition, there was discussion of possible cooperation in the field of developing counter-drone systems, as well as the exchange of experience in this area.
