Yaşar Güler: To preserve peace, one must be prepared for war

Turkey's Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler announced the successful completion of the joint military exercises "Unity of Strength - 2026," conducted on the territory of Azerbaijan.

As reported by a BAKU.WS correspondent dispatched to Khojavend, Yaşar Güler congratulated the military personnel of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan who participated in the exercises.

The minister noted that in the future, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan may join this process, which would open up the possibility of planning and conducting even larger-scale joint military exercises.

"If we want peace and tranquility, we must be prepared for war. That is why, given the situation in our region, we are obliged to maintain combat readiness at the highest level and live in conditions of peace," Yaşar Güler emphasized.
