Xi Jinping congratulated Ilham Aliyev

Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:

"Dear Mr. President,

On the occasion of your birthday, I have the honor to express to you my sincere congratulations and best wishes.

Under our strategic leadership, Chinese-Azerbaijani comprehensive strategic partnership relations are rapidly developing, the political mutual trust between the two countries is constantly strengthening, mutually beneficial cooperation is steadily advancing, and international cooperation is being fruitfully implemented.

During this year, we have met twice, and the important agreements we reached are being effectively and comprehensively implemented.

I attach great importance to the development of relations between China and Azerbaijan and am ready to work with you to achieve new results in comprehensive cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
