The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan shared a publication in connection with the anniversary of the Aghdaban massacre
34 years have passed since the Agdaban massacre - one of the numerous grave and brutal war crimes committed by Armenia against Azerbaijanis.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a publication by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan posted on the social network X.
It is noted that in 1992, the village of Agdaban in the Kalbajar district, consisting of 130 houses, was completely destroyed by Armenian armed formations, and the settlement itself was wiped off the face of the earth.
779 civilians were subjected to brutal torture, and 67 people were killed with extreme cruelty.
"This tragedy will forever remain in history as one of the painful examples of grave crimes committed against the Azerbaijani people.
With deep sorrow and respect, we honor the memory of the victims of Agdaban.
May Allah rest the souls of all our shahids," the publication states.
Ermənistan tərəfindən azərbaycanlılara qarşı törədilmiş çoxsaylı ağır və amansız müharibə cinayətlərindən biri olan Ağdaban qətliamından 34 il ötür.
