The deputy lashed out with criticism at Ali Kerimli's defenders

The arrest of some puppet element in no way has geopolitical significance. On the contrary, fighting crime can only be welcomed.

This was stated by the deputy of Milli Mejlis Bahruz Maharramov, criticizing those who stood up to defend the chairman of the "Popular Front of Azerbaijan" (PFA) party Ali Karimli.

The parliamentarian emphasized that some circles condemning these arrests are actually serving the interests of Russia's intelligence network, and the created hype leads to self-exposure of the PFA.

B.Maharramov addressed ordinary members of the PFA, noting that the defense of A.Karimli by those foreign organizations and media structures that do not recognize the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, have always supported occupation and aggression, and are now hindering the peace process, should raise serious questions.
