Rubio: Trump Secured Peace Between Azerbaijan and Armenia

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio called Donald Trump the "president of peace" and recalled the agreements reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia a year ago.

He wrote about this on the social media platform X.

According to him, on August 8, 2025, Trump hosted President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan at the White House.

"Exactly one year ago, he secured peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Aliyev and Pashinyan signed the historic Joint Declaration, which became a breakthrough for both countries," Rubio stated.
