Putin: Azerbaijan agrees with the implementation of the North-South corridor project

Azerbaijan supports the implementation of the North-South international transport corridor and considers this project promising.

As reported by AZERTAC, this was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the plenary session of the XXIII annual meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club.

He noted that part of the route is to pass through the territory of Azerbaijan.

"We are in contact with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, there are no problems either, Baku agrees with the implementation of this project and considers it promising," the Russian leader said.
