Azerbaijan simplifies visa regime with three countries

Azerbaijan and Saint Kitts and Nevis signed an agreement on mutual visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and service passports.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a publication on the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs' page on the social network X.

According to the information, the document was signed during a meeting between Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his counterpart from Saint Kitts and Nevis, Denzil Llewellyn Douglas, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

"The agreement will further simplify official visits, expand diplomatic ties, and strengthen people-to-people contacts between the two countries," the publication notes.

It is indicated that the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, emphasized the importance of intensifying political dialogue, encouraging mutual visits, as well as strengthening inter-institutional coordination within multilateral platforms, including the UN and the Non-Aligned Movement.

J. Bayramov also held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Antigua and Barbuda, Everly Paul Chet Greene. During the meeting, agreements were signed on mutual visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, service, as well as ordinary passports.

In addition, during J. Bayramov's meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Benin, Corine Amori Brunet, an agreement on mutual visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and service passports between the two countries was signed.

"These important documents will make a significant contribution to strengthening bilateral ties, promoting tourism, and facilitating unhindered official and people-to-people contacts between our nations," the Azerbaijani MFA statement emphasized.
