President: Implementation of UN Security Council resolutions within tight deadlines requires the development of appropriate mechanisms

President Ilham Aliyev in his speech at the meeting in the "SCO plus" format touched upon the UN resolutions adopted in 1993.

As BAKU.WS reports, emphasizing that the four UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions adopted in 1993 were implemented 30 years later, three years ago, the head of state said: "But, unfortunately, the UN played no role in the implementation of these resolutions. Azerbaijan itself fully restored its sovereignty and territorial integrity. The implementation of UNSC resolutions within a short timeframe requires the development of appropriate mechanisms."
