President Ilham Aliyev visited the Naval Forces

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Naval Forces.

As reported by AZERTAC, Minister of Defense Colonel General Zakir Hasanov reported to the President, victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev.

The head of state and the First Lady laid flowers at the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev in front of the Naval Forces headquarters and honored the memory of the Great Leader.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were briefed on the purpose and tactical-technical features of the armed unmanned naval vehicles SALVO (SİDV) and kamikaze unmanned naval vehicles KAYRA (KİDV), developed using advanced technological innovations at the joint production facility of "MİRAS Military-Industrial Company" LLC, operating under the Ministry of Defense, and "DEARSAN Shipbuilding Industry" JSC.

The head of state and the First Lady then familiarized themselves with the work carried out at the production facility.

Afterwards, practical tests of the manufactured unmanned naval vehicles were conducted.

In conclusion, an operational meeting chaired by the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev was held, devoted to issues of military development.
