Official Baku is concerned about the tension that has arisen between India and Pakistan after the attack in Pahalgam.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

"We call on the parties to exercise restraint and engage in constructive dialogue to eliminate the existing tension. In such an unstable situation, it is important to refrain from unilateral actions. In addition, we hope that an open and transparent international investigation will be conducted to resolve the current situation," the statement says.

The foreign policy department emphasized that the path to resolving the conflict "lies through meaningful dialogue and negotiations based on the norms and principles of international law, as well as relevant UN resolutions."

"Recognizing the common and mutual interest in regional stability, we hope that the parties will use diplomatic channels to protect the well-being of their peoples and the wider region, in the name of peace and cooperation," the Foreign Ministry said.
