Ilham Aliyev thanked Peter Pellegrini

A post expressing gratitude to Slovak President Peter Pellegrini has been published on the social media account of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on X.

"We express our sincere gratitude to President of Slovakia Peter Pellegrini for his principled stance and solidarity regarding the recent drone attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran on civilian infrastructure in Nakhchivan.

Azerbaijan's immediate support in evacuating Slovak diplomatic staff from Tehran is a clear demonstration of the high level and strategic nature of relations between our countries, as well as an expression of our commitment to international cooperation," the post reads.
