Ilham Aliyev awarded environmental defenders

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order on awarding a group of individuals who have made contributions to environmental protection and natural resources in Azerbaijan.

As reported by AZERTAG, the document states:

"Guided by paragraph 23 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I decree:

To award the following individuals who have made contributions to environmental protection and natural resources in Azerbaijan:

with the "Tereggi" medal

Hasanov Arastun Hasanaga oglu

Ganbarov Mirsalam Beyukaga oglu

Sefiyev Amil Mirdamed oglu

Shiraliyev Mayis Agahuseyn oglu

Tarverdiyev Gafar Huseyn oglu

with the medal "For Distinction in Civil Service"

Aslanov Ilgar Vagif oglu

Ibadova Sevinj Gafar gizi".
